Jake: Hey I’m Jake of Body by Jake with your nutrition tip of the day. I’ve got a doozy for you! And Dr. P is sitting right here. It’s a doozy too! I’ve got a great question for Dr. P and here it is, what vitamin will help me lose weight?
Dr. P.:
Oh yeah, we talk vitamins all the time. You see all those weight loss vitamins, I mean the best – the top-five best weight loss vitamins are nothing. None. Vitamins are great.
They will give you a 10 or 12 percent edge above and beyond what food is supposed to do. You know, maybe missing B complex vitamins, or the need for calcium, magnesium and zinc or a vitamin D. But there’s no magic bullet. Nothing fixes a pizza, nothing fixes a skipped meal, nothing fixes things that are inconsistent within your nutritional day.
What will help you lose weight? Get up and move around – do some exercise! Drink your water and eat your food. Do not have an adversarial relationship with food. Start to pay more attention to your kitchen, your sleep patterns, your hydration. And how you exercise consistently, with your week.
