Jake: Hey I’m Jake of Body by Jake and here is your nutrition tip for the day. I’m here with chef Stef. How do you do? Great to see you! You know when chef Stef is here we’re gonna answer your most frequently asked questions. And this one comes from Bonnie and she asks: what could I eat for peak mental performance and avoid that 3:00 p.m. slump?
Chef Steph: Jake, that’s a great question. I get a little handful of nuts, seeds with a little bit of berries.
It’s a great mid-afternoon snack to transition you to that next major meal. That way it won’t make you crash, like if you just had all carbohydrates or something. Just a great quick little snack to tide you over.
Jake: Something nice and simple like that! Easy, everything in moderation is always exactly I love it! Chef Steph, that’s the way to do it!
“Stick to the fight when you’re hardest hit. It’s when things seem worst that you must not quit! Don’t quit! Have a great day!”
