Jake: Hey I’m Jake of Body by Jake with your nutrition tip of the day. I’ve got one for you! Chef Steph is here. We’re having some fun answering your questions and here it is, “Are eggs bad for you?”
Chef Steph: You know, it’s not a trick question because it goes back and forth all the time. It’s great right? Over and over again, we have this. Eggs are a wonderful source of animal protein.
It’s a complete protein, which is important because protein is your body’s repair kit, part of every cell in your body. So they are good for you.
The only time you might have an issue is if you have an internal problem dealing with cholesterol. Maybe your body is making too much, and that would be the only instance I would think that you should NOT include eggs as part of a healthy diet. So always check with the doctor, before you go into an exercise program, or are changing what you’re eating.
Jake: Chef Stef, you’re aces! How about that!
“Stick to the fight when you’re hardest hit. It’s when things seem worst that you must not quit! Don’t quit! Have a great day and an egg!”
