Hey I’m Jake of Body by Jake and here is your fitness tip of the day.
Stretching is super important. I’ve got a beauty for you – it’s called the big stretch and Amy and Kelvin are here to show us how we do it.
First, it’s always important to check with a doctor before doing any kind of exercise program. We’re gonna do this nice and simple and you can do it too!
Feet shoulder width apart, knees are bent slightly, takes the pressure of the lower back. We’re gonna raise our arms in the air – oh my goodness – it’s a beautiful day. We’re gonna raise up to the left, nice and long and strong, and then bring it back down. And up to the right. Keep the knees bent slightly.
I’m always a big believer in thinking good positive thoughts. Let’s go for 10 nice easy stretches.
Really reach up there! We’re gonna reach up for the golden ring, Kelvin! Get that golden ring baby! Here we go – three, nice and easy; and four, good; five, it’s nice and smooth.
Knees even, try to keep the stomach tight, squeeze that buttisimo. Love when everything is nice and tight, focused. We are going strong – three more reps! One, here we go Kelvin!
Look at that smile – I love it. One more time and three, perfect! Did you try it? One simple rep leads to two reps and three reps and before you know it you’re feeling great!
